Requests for Grave Decorations
Grave decorations and memorial tokens are welcome. They make the cemetery grounds so beautiful. We respectfully ask to be considerate of other graves nearby and do not encroach upon another grave space. Please also keep in mind the staff will be mowing and trimming several times after Memorial Day. We do our best to replace any dislodged items. It is recommended to mark the item to the corresponding grave and secure it to the monument if possible.
It is highly encouraged to remove any memorial tributes you wish to retain. Live flowers that are spent will be removed and disposed of as needed including pots. The cemetery staff is not responsible for watering flowers
or plants.
Greenwood Cemetery Association is not responsible for any items placed on graves that are not a permanent part of the monument. There is not 24 hour security. Local police patrol regularly but unfortunately grave memorials are subject to vandalism. Even items well secured can dislodge due to weather conditions/high winds.
Please deposit any trash in designated receptacles.
